Our teachers are talented, dedicated, and they care! Our teachers and staff work together all throughout the year and strive to bring the best Jewish Education possible to each of our students.
Here at NCRT, we recognize that each student is unique. Our teachers attend multiple workshops throughout the year with highly qualified facilitators. Workshops involve hands-on learning for our staff. Our opening staff meeting focused on how to teach in a variety of ways to reach out to multiple types of learners within a daily set of lessons!
Here at NCRT we are aware that our students have spent a full day at school on Tuesday before they arrive. The creative teaching methods of our staff on both Sundays and Tuesdays have been shaped to reflect that awareness as well as the knowledge that our students lead busy lives in general.
This year our school will embrace the theme of Being Shomrei Adamah (Caretakers of the Earth). In Genesis 2:15 Adam is told to work the Earth and to guard the Earth. Using Jewish texts and sources as our guide, our focus this year will be on understanding the balance between working the earth and protecting the Earth. Our theme will influence each of our programs and our school will strive to act in a manner that is consistent with our theme at all times!
